As the Personnel Security (PERSEC) Specialist You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to interface with customers at all levels. You should be effective at organizing and prioritizing customer/management requests within a fast-paced deadline-driven environment. Strong communications skills are expected to include excellent writing speaking analytical organizational and customer service skills. Must be a self-starter and capable of working with a limited level of supervision and guidance be committed to continuous learning and professional development and work well as a member of cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do

Requests security paperwork from candidates and ensures the paperwork is accurate and complete
Reviews and processes requests for personnel clearances for access to classified programs
Upload Personnel Security Questionnaires (PSQ) from candidates to eSecurity database
Submit Personnel Security Clearance Justification on required candidates
Implement federal security regulations that apply to company operations
May participate in security compliance inspections as needed
Protects employees personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act and other applicable Government regulations

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically requires:a University Degree or equivalentexperience and less than 2 years priorrelevant experience.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel Word and PowerPoint)
Working experience with JIRA JADE DISS Access Commander and eSecurity

Qualifications We Prefer

Knowledge of NISPOM and DoD 5205.07
Administrative and office management background
Ability to solve problems of limited scope and complexity

The salary range for this role is 55000 USD - 107000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
