Your Role
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Center for Physical Therapy and Exercise you will assist physical therapists in providing quality evidence-based and individualized programs of physical therapy that include assessment treatment planning implementation education and communication to help patients achieve optimal recovery and well-being. Your caseload will be primarily orthopedic with a variety of sports medicine and musculoskeletal diagnoses as well as vestibular and other conditions.
What youll do:
- Assist physical therapists in providing direct patient care according to the therapists treatment plan.
- Assist patients as necessary with walking transferring and dressing.
- Conduct therapy practice within defined standards of care
- Create fitness and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients specific needs; Promote patients healthy lifestyles by improving strength flexibility balance and coordination.
- Communicate effectively with other professionals and support staff to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Document patient care services via EMR.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures objectives quality improvement program safety environmental and infection control standards as required.
About You
- Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Passion for delivering quality evidence-based patient care.
- Superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage and interact positively with a diverse patient population of all ages.
- Drive to continually learn and grow.
