Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload in which you provide individual group and family psychotherapy on-site to children ages 0-5 and families
- Utilize evidence-based practice models to ensure the efficacy and quality of treatment
- Foster collaborative relationships with families employing a strength-based approach to support therapeutic progress
- Proactively engage with schools and other child-serving systems as necessary ensuring seamless coordination and alignment of care
- Complete all required documentation in a professional and timely manner
Qualifications:
- Valid license in the state of New York required (LMSW LCSW LMHC LMFT)
- 3 Years experience in clinical work with young children and families
- Trauma informed experienced in working with child welfare systems and received prior training in working with trauma
We are seeking a candidate with a warm empathetic and engaging demeanor who will connect with families while respecting parents expertise regarding their own children. Cultural competence is highly valued enhancing the candidates ability to relate to the client base. Strong assessment and diagnostic abilities as well as proficient documentation and writing skills are essential. Two evenings or one evening and one Sunday are required weekly. This is a full-time position based in Brooklyn.
Salary: $90000.
