Job Summary
Role: Physical Therapist Outpatient (PT)
Location: Sierra Vista AZ
Position: Full Time Benefits
Must Have:
-Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
-Current Physical Therapy license in state of practice.
-Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Evaluation & Assessment
- Conduct initial evaluations of patients with injuries or movement disorders
- Assess strength flexibility posture gait and range of motion
- Review medical history and physician referrals
- Set measurable treatment goals
2. Treatment Planning & Therapy
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide hands-on manual therapy (joint mobilization soft tissue work)
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and stretching programs
- Use modalities like ultrasound electrical stimulation heat/cold therapy
3. Patient Education
- Teach proper posture ergonomics and body mechanics
- Instruct patients on home exercise programs (HEP)
- Educate on injury prevention and recovery techniques
4. Progress Monitoring & Documentation
- Track patient progress and outcomes
- Modify treatment plans based on improvement or setbacks
- Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems
5. Specialization-Based Care
- Treat conditions like sports injuries back/neck pain arthritis and post-operative rehab
- Provide rehabilitation for orthopedic and neurological conditions
- Support return-to-work or return-to-sport programs
6. Collaboration & Communication
- Communicate with referring physicians and healthcare providers
- Coordinate care plans and progress updates
- Work with clinic staff for scheduling and patient flow
7. Clinic Operations & Patient Management
- Manage daily patient caseload efficiently
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of therapy equipment
- Maintain a clean safe and organized treatment environment
8. Compliance & Safety
- Follow clinic policies and healthcare regulations
- Ensure patient safety during exercises and treatments
- Maintain infection control standards
