We are seeking an Exercise Specialist to:
Teach exercise principles respond to any emergent events and tend to the environment of the fitness center.
Perform assessments on new participants taking account of medical history exercise history and any basic exercise physiology measurements.
Use data and information to develop safe exercise programs for new and existing participants.
At UW Health you will have:
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology Kinesiology or related field Required
Work Experience
- Experience developing and teaching exercise programming to adults Required
- Previous healthcare experience Preferred
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred
Licenses & Certifications
- Current CPR/AED certification Required
