As a Private Equity Independence Manager youll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the firms integrity while enabling growth. What your days will look like:
- Monitor independence risks across private equity groups including changes from investments divestments and restructuring.
- Apply independence rules (FRC SEC Global Policy) to private equity structures across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise teams and partners on independence issues for complex relationships and portfolio companies.
- Lead and document independence assessments for private equity clients covering services relationships and investments.
- Communicate confidently with senior stakeholders providing clear guidance and delivering difficult messages when required.
- Support training and knowledge-sharing initiatives for teams working with private equity clients.
- Refine internal policies procedures and tools to strengthen independence compliance.
The role is for you if:
- you have a working knowledge of private equity structures audit processes and independence regulations (FRC SEC GIP etc.).
- you have proven analytical organizational and project management skills with the ability to make sound judgments and manage detailed information accurately.
- you have excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence to deliver clear sometimes challenging messages and interact effectively at all levels.
- you have strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence support and empathize with client-facing practitioners.
- you are a conscientious ambitious team player demonstrating strong self-management and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced changing environment.
- you have experience in coaching and supporting colleagues with a collaborative approach to problem-solving and strong people management capabilities.
