Patient Services Specialist II Full-Time needed in our Valley Ortho Aspen and Willits Clinics!

This position is Monday through Friday with the following clinic schedule!

• Monday: Aspen Clinic AM front desk/Willits Clinic PM front desk
• Tuesday: Aspen Clinic front desk
• Wednesday: Willits Clinic front desk
• Thursday: Aspen Clinic
• Friday: Aspen Clinic Front Desk

As the Patient Service Specialist II you will:

GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

1. Provides patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties.
2. Organizes patient flow; keeping physicians and patients on schedule.
3. Maintains patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner.
4. Screens office manager physician and nurse calls handling appropriately.
5. Cross-train in PCT/CNA/MA role.
6. Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse designated specifically by the clinic.
7. Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments rooming patients procedures treatments filing/retrieving medical records and general office clerical duties.
8. Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Current American Heart Association BLS preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.

Skills:

• Clerical: typing filing scheduling computer phone and people skills
• Excellent customer service skills; strong computer skills
• Phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Laboratory and/or X-ray experience preferred.

Experience:

• Two years in a reception or clerical field.

SALARY RANGE

• $20.41 to $30.02/hour
• Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience.
