DescriptionOur regional Customer Data Analysts in Customer Data Management (CDM) are the guardians of NI account territory and resource data assets across our many systems like Oracle Data Warehouse and SFDC by adhering to business rules best practices and representing the regional needs of their stakeholders to reduce operational friction enable decision making on enterprise investments and represent the needs of sales and customer data stakeholders. They are also relied on to partner with stakeholders to proactively create and maintain our data to enable enterprise processes. This role also influences future requirements for improvements to our customer data models as well as ensure compliance with data governance policies and resolution of data quality issues. They are key members of the Global Analytics team and have an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment highly collaborative environment.
Core Job Responsibilities:
- Review validate and recommend master organizations and perform account maintenance/standardization to ensure accuracy
- Work alongside our CMDM teams to recommendchanges related to new account setupand maintenance to improve process efficiencies
- Partner with other areas beyond Customer Data Management to leverage data to drive key sales processes
- Provide subject matter expertise to determine appropriate data values when conflicts arise
- Monitor adherence to governance policies and procedures
- Conduct appropriate data analysis to review and auditdata elements
- Interface with cross-functional teams to support and validate teammate adherence to master data policies
- Design and execute on best business practices for mass data updates as needed
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for account hierarchies Customer Data Integration linkage and overall governance operations
- Communicate timely and professionally to users management and senior leadership with repetitive issues
- Develop standard procedures user guides and other necessary training and job aid materials
- Lead and work on ad hoc regional and global projects
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
- Prior minimum of 5 years of experience with sales operations territories quotes order management and other customer datasets preferred
- Solid analytical & problem-solving skills
- Process orientation detail focused ability to multi-task
- Ability to work with a team as well as independently
- Strong interpersonal skills; positive business relationships
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English including proper grammar
