Job Summary
Our client is looking for a qualified Auto Electrician with strong experience working on heavy duty machinery. This position follows a shift rotation with one week in Harare and the next week on site at the mine.
Salary and Benefits:

Main Responsibilities:

- Diagnose repair and maintain electrical systems on heavy duty mining machinery.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and routine inspections.
- Attend to breakdowns and resolve faults quickly to minimise downtime.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company standards.
- Keep accurate maintenance records and report on repairs completed.
- Communicate effectively with the operations team and work independently on site.
Key Skills:
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability.
- Solid understanding of heavy-duty machinery electrical systems.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Reliable organised and able to manage workloads effectively.
Qualifications:
- Recognised auto electrical qualification.
- Demonstrated experience working on mining or heavy-duty equipment.
- Clean Class 4 drivers licence.
- Ability to travel between Harare and the mine on rotation.
