Description

This is an onsite role processing distributing retrieving maintaining and archive all project related records received and sent by the client. Assist in managing project and program records utilizing clients Project Management Information System PMWeb and hard-copy files. The qualified candidate may be co-located with the construction management team in a field construction environment once training is completed. Candidate should have the means to drive distances between office and field locations.

Responsibilities
  • The control scanning indexing linking hardcopy filing and distribution of documents in PMWeb.
  • This includes internal records of the clients projects and programs and those processed with external entities such as City Agencies consultants and contractors.
  • Manage flow of records to project participants distribution including correspondence technical submittals project reports Requests for Information and contract plans and specifications.
  • Prepare transmittals distribute documents using PMWeb and retrieve documents through PMWeb software.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must be a proactive self-starter with a results-oriented focus.
  • Must be sensitive to time deadlines ensure that work is accomplished in the timeframes required and must be flexible and able to readily adapt to changing priorities.
  • May be designated as a lead Document Control Technician on a project or element.
  • May be assigned training duties to train new staff on document controls procedures.
  • Assist the Project Manager the Construction Manager and the Project Team in all matters related to project records and the control and distribution of documents in PMWeb.
  • Support for project teams in organizing workflows and approvals.
  • Participation in project meetings as necessary.
Qualifications

Required Qualification:- Years of Experience/Education/Certificates/Training:

  • Two-year technical degree
  • 5-10 years experience with document processing and data management.
  • Previous experience managing a Document Control effort for a large-scale ($25M)construction project or program required.
  • Must have a self-starter attitude with proactive result-oriented focus; and willing and capable to assume additional responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software products- Excel Word PowerPoint
  • Proven accuracy reliability and completeness in job accomplishment.
  • Demonstrated success on the job as evidenced by satisfactory performance acceptance of responsibility and growth in previous positions.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to interface with a variety of people with different technical levels and educational backgrounds; must be detail-oriented and highly organized; and must be able to produce accurate and timely results while maintaining a positive customer-service attitude.
  • Must possess a can-do attitude: able to produce consistently accurate results at a fast pace.
  • Must be able to occasionally wrap lift and move boxes/packages of up to 40-pounds
  • Must be detail oriented and highly organized

Desired Qualifications

  • Document processing experience at large international airports preferred
  • Experience in a large-scale billion-dollar public-sector construction program is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a construction environment is highly desirable.
  • Certification for document control professionals is highly desirable
Wage Requirement
  • Starting Salary range for this job is $80000.00 - $91050.00. The starting salary will be commensurate with skill education experience and working environment
