Job Summary

Speech Pathologist for youth at the RI Training School

Flexible hours based on student needs and school day availability is preferred but not required. After school hours are available between 3:30p.m.-5:00p.m. and weekends are as well.

MUST be RIDE certified as Speech Pathologist; documentation must be uploaded at submission.

SLPs work with the full range of human communication and swallowing disorders in individuals of all ages in a school setting. SLPs:

Evaluate and diagnose speech language communication and swallowing disorders

Treat speech language communication and swallowing disorders

Provide training and education to family/caregivers and other professionals

Work collaboratively with professionals from many other disciplines

Hours per week will range from 8-10 hours per diem. SLPs soonest availability will be requested as needed.

Assignment duration is School Year 2025-2026
