Workshop & Parts Manager Malmsbury

Requirements

  • National Diploma in Sales & Marketing or a related technical/management field
  • 4 years of experience in workshop mechanization or agricultural equipment management
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Solid understanding of agricultural machinery maintenance processes parts procurement and inventory control
  • Financial and administrative competence with the ability to manage budgets and performance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for staff suppliers and client engagement

Key Responsibilities:

Workshop Operations & Maintenance

  • Plan coordinate and manage daily workshop activities
  • Oversee repairs and maintenance with a focus on quality and minimum downtime
  • Schedule and monitor preventive maintenance across all agricultural equipment

Spares & Inventory Management

  • Procure and manage spare parts and components
  • Maintain accurate stock levels records and controls
  • Support clients with spares custom builds repairs and technical guidance

Financial & Performance Management

  • Manage workshop budgeting cost control and profitability
  • Maintain accurate pricing quotes and operational reporting
  • Improve efficiency workflow and workshop performance

Customer & Sales Support

  • Engage with clients suppliers and internal teams
  • Provide technical insights on designs and specifications
  • Promote workshop services and support sales/marketing initiatives

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead motivate and develop a skilled technical team
  • Uphold SHEQ standards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Foster a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement
