Responsibilities

Professionally provides both English and Spanish instruction to new and expectant parents on a variety of perinatal health issues

Qualifications

REQUIRED

Fluent in both Spanish and English. Must pass the bilingual fluency assessment.
B.S. or B.A. degree in Education related health field or a national or international certification in area of expertise
Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)

PREFERRED

Certified as an American Heart Association BLS instructor or must become certified within probationary period when teaching CPR.
Excellent critical thinking interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge in the use of audiovisual equipment.
Prior clinical and adult education experience.
