We are currently looking for a Portfolio Specialistto join ourRural and Business Portfolio Team. This is a dynamic and collaborative role that blend insurance knowledge and underwriting skills with analytical and project managing skills to create strategic portfolio insights in support of the Portfolio Managers and play a key part in enabling Suncorp New Zealand to deliver market-leading outcomes through data-driven decision making and business intelligence.
We embrace flexible working options and are looking for someone who thrives in a hybrid environmentworking a mix of days from home and in our Suncorp office.
What Youll Do
- Analyse business performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
- Deliver portfolio reporting insights and recommendations.
- Access and present the right level of information to support decisions across pricing product and underwriting.
- Support research and development ofrural and businessinsurance productsandthe wider customer proposition.
- Support product underwriting and pricing decisions and contribute to commercially astute recommendations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
- Communicate complex findings in a clear and meaningful way.
- Identify and implement improvements to technical and operational solutions.
- Work in/with/alongside project teams as a SME to assist positive outcomes.
