We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic student to join our Plant HOWMET MEXICO/HOWMET DEL RIO TXteam as a Process Engineer Summer Intern. This position will assist engineering and manufacturing in driving improvements in quality and delivery performance through process control and improvement initiatives.
The 2026 Summer Internship Programalso includes: lunch & learns presented by senior leaders tours of our manufacturing plants & processes networking opportunities volunteering in the local community and fun social activities to connect with fellow interns.

QUALIFICATIONS
QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
- Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors degree from anaccredited institution.
- Minimum completion of Sophomore level coursework from an accredited institution.
- Employee must have a current US Passport to commute every day to our Mexican plant
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors degree program in Engineering (Mechanical aerospaceetc) from an accredited institution.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Relevant internship/work/research experience a plus
