Responsibilities
Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy
Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment
Diagnose maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning and more
Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding needed repairs timelines and recommendations
Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs
Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of professional automotive Service Technician experience (Required)
ASE Certification (Preferred)
Ford Certification (Preferred)
Previous experience at a Ford dealership (Preferred)
B-Level qualifications including Diagnostics Electrical and Engine Repair
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Strong customer service and communication skills
Positive team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn
Ability to adapt to new technology repair procedures and specifications
Basic computer skills
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
