Responsibilities

  • Perform work specified on repair orders with efficiency and accuracy

  • Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools and special service equipment

  • Diagnose maintain and repair vehicle systems including engine transmission electrical steering suspension brakes air conditioning and more

  • Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding needed repairs timelines and recommendations

  • Provide accurate time estimates for additional repairs

  • Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional automotive Service Technician experience (Required)

  • ASE Certification (Preferred)

  • Ford Certification (Preferred)

  • Previous experience at a Ford dealership (Preferred)

  • B-Level qualifications including Diagnostics Electrical and Engine Repair

  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment

  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Positive team-oriented attitude with a willingness to learn

  • Ability to adapt to new technology repair procedures and specifications

  • Basic computer skills

  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
