Job Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master II position! This is a 6 month contract opportunity with potential extensions and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What Youll Be Doing:

Serve as a servant-leader and mentor to multiple cross-functional Agile teams using Scrum Kanban and XP.
Foster a continuous improvement culture and help teams self-organize and collaborate effectively.
Facilitate key Agile ceremonies including sprint planning stand-ups retrospectives and reviews.
Remove impediments to team progress and work with stakeholders to resolve blockers.
Visualize and radiate team information using appropriate tools and practices.
Coach teams on Agile values principles and practices to support high performance and transparency.
Collaborate with other Agile Leaders to improve Agile maturity across the organization.
Provide mentorship to less experienced Scrum Masters.
Promote individual and team learning via communities of practice meetups and training opportunities.

What Youll Need to Have:

Minimum of a bachelors degree and 4 years on an Agile team with at least 2 years as a Scrum Master.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams with SAFe or general Agile frameworks.
Strong time management and facilitation skills.
Ability to remove impediments and lead through influence.
Knowledge of Agile practices such as user stories retrospectives TDD ATDD continuous integration and information radiators.
Experience developing or managing digital capabilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Familiarity with Design Thinking.
Background in multiple tech roles preferred (PM UX BA Dev QA).

Pay Range:$50-$65/hr
