Job Description:

  • Matching batching coding and entering invoices

  • Entering posting and reconciling batches

  • Researching and resolving accounts payable or accounts receivable issues with customers or vendors

  • Updating and reconciling sub-ledger to the general ledger

  • Maintaining cash applications account reconciliations

  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures including payroll purchase orders invoices statements etc.

  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

  • Maintaining historical records

  • Scheduling vendor payments and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor inquiries regarding finance

  • Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

  • Continuing to improve the payment process

  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions

  • Reports sales taxes by calculating requirements on paid invoices.

  • PC proficiency

  • Data entry skills

  • General math skills

Education Experience and Licensing Requirements:

  • High school diploma GED or equivalent required

  • Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field a plus

  • Previous accounts payable experience preferred
