Architect (mfd)

We are looking for an experienced Architect (m/f/d) to join our Design & Engineering team and play a key role in the design development coordination and technical execution of exhibition fit-out projects. Working at the interface of design engineering and construction the Architect ensures that creative exhibition concepts are transformed into buildable compliant and coordinated solutions from schematic design to site implementation.

The position requires close collaboration with internal design AV/lighting and fit-out teams as well as external consultants suppliers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate exhibition design concepts into coordinated architectural drawings and construction details.
• Develop layouts sections elevations and 3D models in alignment with client requirements and technical constraints.
• Coordinate with AVL (Audio Video Lighting) structural MEP and interior design disciplines.
• Prepare tender and construction documentation including material specifications and schedules.
• Participate in design-assist processes technical reviews and value engineering.
• Support design managers and fit-out managers during procurement and construction phases.
• Provide continuous design support to the Fit-Out Manager during execution to ensure alignment with design intent and quality standards.
• Conduct site visits to review construction progress and resolve design or coordination issues.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes regulations and standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of templates workflows and BIM standards.
• Contribute to cost estimation and budgeting during design development ensuring design decisions remain feasible within defined cost targets.
• Prepare or support quantity take-offs and coordinate with estimators to obtain and compare supplier or subcontractor offers for design-related packages.
• Participate in value engineering discussions and recommend materials or methods that balance quality aesthetics and budget.
• Support cost control by aligning design updates with budget implications throughout the project phases.

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Architecture.
• 2yearsofexperienceinarchitecturaldesign and/orexhibitionfit-outprojects(pavilionsexperiencecentersmuseumsorsimilarenvironments).
• StrongcommandofVectorworksorAutoCADRevit/BIM and 3Dvisualizationtools(Rhino SketchUporsimilar)aswellasExcel. MS Projectisanadvantage.
• Fluentin Englishand German (writtenand spoken).
• Solidunderstandingofmaterialsfinishesfabricationmethods anddetailingfortemporaryand permanentexhibitionstructures.
• Experiencewithdesign-assistordesign-buildprojectenvironmentsisanadvantage.
• Strongawarenessofbudgetingandcostcontrolwithindesignprocesses.
• Experiencereviewingsupplierquotationsandcoordinatingwithestimationorprocurementteamsisanadvantage.
