We have got an exciting opportunity for permanent full-time lecturers in nursing to be part of our team at University of Canberra Sydney Hills (ECA Group).

The Faculty of Nursing is seeking passionate motivated and knowledgeable sessional tutors to join our dynamic teaching team. This role is perfect for experienced nurses and educators who are committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Builds student skills and knowledge through timely well-prepared workshops seminars simulations and practical classes.
  • Uses digital tools effectively to source evaluate create and share information with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Meets agreed outcomes and escalates issues when needed.
  • Identifies process improvements and applies problem-solving to achieve results.
  • Adapts to changing circumstances and prioritises tasks efficiently.
  • Proactively addresses challenges takes ownership of issues and supports team members to overcome barriers.
  • Aligns work with the UCSH Strategic Plan.

As the successful candidate you will ideally have:

  • Postgraduate qualification at a minimum of a masters degree level.
  • Eligible for unconditional registration as a Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Previous experience in higher education teaching or clinical education is desirable.
