Public Skills Australia has been appointed by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) as one of 10 Jobs and Skills Councils. We work with employer and employee representatives from the Public Safety and Government industry-sectors Police Fire and Emergency Services Correctional Services Defence and all levels of Government to ensure Australias vocational education and training (VET) system delivers better outcomes for learners and employers. A primary function of our work is to provide workforce planning industry intelligence and training product development in support of industry needs and government priorities.
The Business and Systems Analyst co-delivers project performance compliance and strategic/business plan reporting in partnership with other staff across the company. The position is also responsible for supporting the IT environment of the company including support of the contract with the IT service provider and implementation of relevant software across the company.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with experience working with enterprise Information Technology systems implementation of software and an understanding of reporting processes. Our preferred candidate with have experience in working with high level stakeholders and can demonstrate the ability to be flexible and responsive to changing priorities. The Business and Systems Analyst will be required to present high quality accurate verbal and written reports using software such as PowerBI. They will interrogate such data and deliver insights to support executive level decision making. This position will also support the IT infrastructure of the company including depreciation IT onboarding and asset monitoring.
Responsibilities
In partnership with internal stakeholders and external service providers with the intent of ensuring compliance with relevant legislative grant and company compliance obligations the Business and Systems Analyst will:
project and portfolio management functions the Office of the CEO and teams across the organisation to co-deliver project performance compliance and strategic/business plan analyses and reporting
information and data to deliver insights/reports using software such as PowerBI.
the IT environment of the company contract execution with the IT service provider the IT infrastructure of the company (including depreciation IT onboarding and asset register).
recommend and implement required software across the company such as the CRM and project management tools.
Key Selection Criteria Essential
