About the Role
At Ventia our Digital Services team is an enabler of growth and success. The Business Analyst - Digital sits at the centre of this helping us translate opportunity into action. This role partners across the business to understand needs uncover challenges and design digital solutions that deliver measurable value.
You will play a key role in supporting two major tunnel projects across Australia as they mobilise. Working closely with project teams youll ensure their digital needs are met and deliver high levels of customer success. This is a hands-on role where you can create real impact in the road transport industry.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) offered on a fixed-term contract until December 2027 based in our Adelaide CBD office. While Adelaide is preferred we also welcome applicants from Victoria.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business needs into actionable digital requirements by working closely with operational teams and stakeholders.
- Analyse processes systems and data to identify opportunities for efficiency resilience and innovation.
- Create clear documentation including business cases requirements process maps and user stories to support delivery and decision-making.
- Collaborate with Digital Services specialists (Cyber Solution Architecture Data & AI) to design and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
- Manage priorities and stakeholder engagement tracking progress and communicating the impact of digital initiatives across projects and clients.
Skills and Experience
- Experience: Highly developed skills in business analysis ideally within digital transformation or technology-enabled environments.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving ability to turn complex challenges into practical solutions.
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder engagement skills bridging technical and non-technical audiences confidently.
- Delivery Knowledge: Familiarity with Agile or hybrid frameworks plus expertise in requirements gathering process mapping and data-driven analysis.
- Industry Exposure: Transport or construction experience desirable with exposure to Maximo systems and an understanding of cyber environments and regulations.
- Adaptability: Highly organised and proactive able to manage shifting priorities while maintaining a positive approach.
