Job Summary
Role: Information Security Analyst

Overview:
The Information Security Analyst will audit and monitor systems containing confidential data support compliance with state/federal regulations and assist with system security logging auditing and vulnerability management. You will also participate in federal/state audits and help maintain security standards and procedures.
The Information Security Analyst will audit and monitor systems containing confidential data support compliance with state/federal regulations and assist with system security logging auditing and vulnerability management. You will also participate in federal/state audits and help maintain security standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor security conditions and report findings to leadership
- Assist with log configuration analysis and reporting
- Participate in audits (IRS SSA OCSE FBI SBOA) and help remediate findings
- Develop information security policies standards and SOPs
- Recommend security safeguards for new and existing systems
- Perform periodic security audits and generate reports
- Stay updated on laws affecting privacy network cloud and data security
- Collaborate with IT teams across systems development and operations
- Mentor junior staff and support additional tasks as assigned
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of security tools policies and NIST guidelines
- Experience with vulnerability scanning and remediation
- Familiarity with domain structures authentication certificates
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse technical teams
- Security degree or certifications (CISSP) preferred
- Network admin experience preferred
