Job Summary
We are hiring an Senior Asset Condition Monitoring Specialist to support the health assessment performance tracking and lifecycle planning of critical electrical assets with a focus on HV/LV systems and cable infrastructure. The role enables condition-based maintenance improves asset reliability and reduces operational downtime.
You will work with maintenance engineering field teams and digital platforms to execute asset health monitoring programs and provide insights that strengthen asset performance and long-term planning.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor the condition of HV/LV electrical assets including cables transformers and switchgear.
Analyze diagnostic data (thermal load partial discharge insulation resistance etc.).
Develop and implement asset condition monitoring programs with sensors and diagnostic tools.
Support condition-based & predictive maintenance (CBM/PdM) strategies.
Maintain asset health indices and support risk-based replacement planning.
Validate inspection findings with field engineers and plan maintenance interventions.
Maintain asset condition records in CMMS/EAM systems (Maximo Ellipse etc.).
Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and suggest preventive measures.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and continuous improvement of asset integrity processes.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering Instrumentation or related field.
Experience in asset condition monitoring electrical maintenance or asset health analysis.
Strong understanding of HV/LV systems underground cables transformers and switchgear.
Familiarity with asset health indices FMEA criticality assessments and degradation analysis.
Experience with CMMS/EAM systems (Maximo SAP PM Ellipse).
Ability to interpret drawings test reports and performance trends.
Preferred Skills
Exposure to IoT-based condition monitoring tools or digital asset health platforms.
Knowledge of RCM asset management frameworks and reliability tools.
Experience with GIS for spatial asset visualization.
Certifications like IAM CMRP or equivalent.
