Job Summary

Job Descriptions:

individual and group counseling sessions to advise and assist students with academic and career development.

students attributes and assist them in realizing their objectives.

attention to societal and cultural differences in all student matters.

students and their parents/guardians through the college admissions and application process.

students and others in understanding and utilizing Cialfo the college admission data management system.

guidance and resources and teach tools to navigate the college search and application process.

students on appropriate interviewing techniques self-assessment tools and application essay writing techniques etc.

individually with student(s) and parents/to explore and identify appropriate college options. Communicate regularly with counselor.

students and their parents/guardians through the college admissions and application process.

families about college admissions and financial aid or scholarship possibilities in different countries through regular workshops.

regular communication with parents regarding their child.

one 6-block course other than the college counseling course.

a strong working knowledge of colleges and universities which includes making regular visits to colleges. Stay current on high education changes. Understand the college admission process at a variety of institution types and selectivity levels.

as a general resource for students parents and faculty regarding admission criteria and college data.

with parents academic staff and external partners.

and facilitate educational and training workshops for academic staff.

college visits and trips to local college fairs; coordinate college event planning and implementation; invite college admissions officers to visit the school and meet with students.

in events throughout the year sponsored by the College Counseling Office such as evening college fairs workshops college trips and the Spring College Visit trip.

and send supplementary materials such as transcript letter of recommendation to colleges.

with other related duties as assigned by Director of College Counseling.

flexible and assist with any other duties tasks or jobs as may be reasonably requested by school.

Required Skills:

Education Background Masters degree or above from: Top 100 global universities (QS/THE/ARWU) Chinas Double First-Class universities MOE-affiliated key pedagogical institutions 世界前100海外院校双一流高校及部属重点师范类院校硕士及以上学历 Mandatory: Valid teaching certification 须具备教师资格证 Experience 3 years teaching IGCSE/A-Level/DSE curricula with proven student outcomes. 3年及以上IGCSE&A-LEVEL/DSE相关学科授课经验过往学生成绩优异 Language Proficiency Bilingual teachers: IELTS 7.0/TOEFL 100. 双语学科教师要求雅思7分托福100分以上 Competencies Advanced pedagogical philosophy self-directed learning ability and strong sense of responsibility. 拥有先进教育教学理念具备持续学习能力与高度责任心
