Job Summary

Project Manager Civil Infrastructure Projects

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning execution and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads earthworks utilities sewer/watermain and municipal infrastructure.

  • Develop and manage project budgets schedules and procurement plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.

  • Oversee contract administration including change management RFIs submittals and progress documentation.

  • Coordinate with owners consultants subcontractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project alignment.

  • Manage subcontractor performance ensuring adherence to scope quality standards and safety requirements.

  • Monitor project progress risks and opportunities implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Lead project meetings prepare status reports and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.

  • Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements municipal standards and environmental guidelines.

  • Support project closeout activities including deficiency management as-built documentation and turnover packages.

  • Foster a collaborative safety-first culture across all project phases.


Qualifications

  • 712 years of project management experience in civil infrastructure construction.

  • Proven track record delivering projects involving roads earthworks utilities and municipal infrastructure.

  • Strong understanding of civil construction methods sequencing and cost controls.

  • Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g. MS Project Primavera Procore or similar).

  • Excellent contract administration skills including exposure to municipal and provincial tendering processes.

  • Ability to interpret engineered drawings technical specifications and regulatory requirements.

  • Strong leadership communication and stakeholder-management abilities.

  • Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.

  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management CET or related field considered an asset.

  • Valid safety certifications (e.g. Working at Heights WHMIS) are an advantage.
