Project Manager Civil Infrastructure Projects
Responsibilities
Lead the planning execution and delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads earthworks utilities sewer/watermain and municipal infrastructure.
Develop and manage project budgets schedules and procurement plans to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Oversee contract administration including change management RFIs submittals and progress documentation.
Coordinate with owners consultants subcontractors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and maintain project alignment.
Manage subcontractor performance ensuring adherence to scope quality standards and safety requirements.
Monitor project progress risks and opportunities implementing corrective actions as needed.
Lead project meetings prepare status reports and maintain strong communication with stakeholders.
Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements municipal standards and environmental guidelines.
Support project closeout activities including deficiency management as-built documentation and turnover packages.
Foster a collaborative safety-first culture across all project phases.
Qualifications
712 years of project management experience in civil infrastructure construction.
Proven track record delivering projects involving roads earthworks utilities and municipal infrastructure.
Strong understanding of civil construction methods sequencing and cost controls.
Proficiency with project management and construction software (e.g. MS Project Primavera Procore or similar).
Excellent contract administration skills including exposure to municipal and provincial tendering processes.
Ability to interpret engineered drawings technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
Strong leadership communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams.
Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management CET or related field considered an asset.
Valid safety certifications (e.g. Working at Heights WHMIS) are an advantage.
