As part of this expansion we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee commercial contractual and procurement functions across complex construction and engineering packages in Melbournes west.
About the Opportunity
This role leads all contract management activity from tendering through to project delivery. Youll guide commercial strategy manage subcontract procurement negotiate terms monitor cost performance and ensure contract compliance across multiple work packages.
This position suits someone who thrives in a structured yet fast-moving environment with strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
Lead contract administration across multiple construction work packages
Oversee subcontractor engagement tendering negotiation and award
Maintain the projects contract register and ensure obligations are documented and tracked
Review scope changes and lead preparation of variation claims
Manage commercial risk dispute resolution and contractual correspondence
Monitor project cost performance and produce forecasting reports
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation codes and company governance frameworks
Build strong working relationships with clients subcontractors internal teams and key external parties
Support project leadership with strategic commercial advice
Lead and mentor contract administration staff
