Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing daily operations for all points of entry into the health system PBX operations Room Control operations Pre- Registrations Admissions and Registrations Insurance Verifications and in the delivery of the critical components of the revenue cycle as well as keeping the hospital compliant with the many regulatory agencies maintaining patient safety through correct patient identification practices and responsible for providing extraordinary customer service in situations that are often difficult.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
1a. B.S. degree in Business Administration or related field plus four (4) years registration experience OR b. Ten (10) years progressively responsible registration experience.
2. Good written and oral communication skills.
3. Demonstrated knowledge of insurance requirements and regulations and hospital operations.
