As a Data Strategy Analyst you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. You help the firm grow its business in a responsible way by anticipating new and emerging risks and using your expert judgment to solve real-world challenges that impact our company customers and communities. In this role you will be a key member of the Data Strategy Team within Wholesale Credit Risk Product team. You will collaborate with technology partners subject matter experts and stakeholders to develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that ensures data integrity quality and accessibility across the organization.
Job responsibilities
- Define critical data elements across credit risk processes and applications.
- Build and maintain data dictionaries with standardized business definitions.
- Define ownership of data inputs enrichment changes and outputs across processes.
- Standardize data operational models (inputs/enrichment) to achieve consistency across different Lines of Business (LOBs).
- Identify and define strategic sources of data.
- Identify data automation opportunities using systemic feeds or Large Language Models (LLMs); automate data enrichment where possible.
- Define schema for data assets and publish data lineage (data inputs enrichment and outputs).
- Establish a robust data quality program (business and technical DQ) to ensure data is fit for use across processes.
- Establish and monitor data level KPIs across products.
- Implement continuous data testing and refinement processes; utilize anomaly detection processes wherever possible.
- Address and remediate any regulatory requirements in collaboration with individual product teams.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- Bachelors Degree in a relevant field.
- Understanding of Credit Risk Data Strategy Data Management
- Strong clear and concise written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare executive-level communications.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships.
- Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly.
- High degree of initiative self-direction and ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong data analysis problem-solving and project management skills.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional data initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to lead drive consensus and deliver in a matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive decisions.
- Proficiency in process re-engineering or similar.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills
- Experience within large Financial Services firms and basic level of domain knowledge in Credit Risk.
- Experience working with Technology and UX Design colleagues and discussing technical designs
