As the Head of RDT for Pharma International you will assume a pivotal digital technology leadership role serving as the Strategic Business Partner to the Global Head of Pharma International and their enabling team (INET). This executive position is accountable for the performance and results of a critical division within the technology function directly influencing and shaping the Pharma International strategy.
Your core responsibility is to co-create and drive the digital strategy for the entire Pharma International geography covering all in-market capabilities from customer-facing roles to strategic marketing and commercial operations. You are directly responsible for delivering a compliant digital landscape that fundamentally empowers our global teams translating complex business needs into robust forward-looking technology solutions that drive tangible business outcomes across diverse global markets. This role requires developing and executing long-term operational strategy to achieve key business objectives across multiple large departments.
The Head of RDT provides leadership and direction through multiple levels of leaders executing the strategy for a critical geography:
Geographic Digital Strategy: Define and execute the comprehensive digital strategy for Pharma International markets including go-to-market strategies sales marketing and commercial support functions. This strategy must differentiate the organization from the competition by leveraging business and commercial expertise.
Operational Resilience & Assurance: Ensure uninterrupted and high-quality service delivery for all digital products and services used by our global affiliates. Establish proactive governance and processes to minimize downtime and risk reflecting a low tolerance for failure in mission-critical systems.
Global Product Advocacy & Influence: Act as the chief advocate for the markets representing their specific needs to the Head of RDT - Global Products for Commercial & Global Pharma Strategy. Ensure Global Products are continuously developed to support the specific requirements of key must-win markets assuring a delightful user experience while supporting legal and regulatory compliance without unnecessary customization.
Executive Business Partnership: Function as the primary strategic business partner to senior business leadership within Pharma International (INET) aligning technology roadmaps directly with critical geographic business needs and priorities.
Strategy and Execution Alignment: Align the product vision strategy and roadmap for all regional requirements with the Head of RDT - Global Products. Ensure that Global Regional and Local digital technology products realize their full business impact on the ground driving revenue growth customer experience and operational efficiency.
Leadership Network & Direction: Lead a network of Regional Strategic Business Partnering teams focused on specific geographies across Pharma International. Provides leadership and direction through these multiple levels of leaders ensuring strategic objectives cascade effectively.
Domain Financial & Operational Oversight: Oversee the financial contractual and operational health of the domain as a business unit. The primary mission is to provide the operational insight that empowers Product and Engineering leaders to focus on their core responsibilities of strategy and execution.
Talent Stewardship & Culture: Manage a global budget and mentor a team of senior leaders fostering a culture of innovation and high performance while navigating a complex matrixed organization.
Success in this executive position requires a blend of deep domain expertise strategic thinking and the ability to influence strategy across the enterprise.
Domain Expertise: Deep understanding of multiple healthcare ecosystems and extensive experience with go-to-market strategies in large diverse international markets.
