POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install and maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment.
Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Diagnose problems replace or repair parts test and adjust.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines equipment and plant facilities.
Performs mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical electrical pneumatic electronics and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
Must have strong organizational skills to accurately complete and file required reports and documents and excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience; strong PLC pneumatic mechanical electrical/electronic and industrial skills required
The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and the ability to take initiative identifying potential problems and solutions.
- Must be detail-oriented and a self-starter
- All candidates must have strong communication skills
- This role requires a great deal of walking standing and using a variety of hand and power tools electric meters material handling and mobile equipment in performing duties.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.
Schedule/ Shift:First shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Location:Avon/Lorain Plants
Travel Requirements: Some traveling between plants is required
Over Time: up toYes there will be overtime as needed
