Be a key contributor in COWIs resource alocation
You will join an international team collaborating closely with our engineering professionals and leadership. Your primary role will be to ensure the best possible match between our skilled professionals and the diverse projects that define our industry within our business unit Buildings and Industry West. This position is ideal for someone who thrives on collaboration has a strategic mindset proficient data handling abilities and aims to optimize resource management practices in engineering.

You will join a network of skilled Resource Managers across COWI and within the business working together to ensure a seamless and holistic staffing approach across our business and within the assigned business unit.

Yourkeyresponsibilitieswillbeto:

• Provideongoingsupport toourHead of Engineeringand Head ofConsultancycoordinatingstaffingrequestsfrom bids andprojectsincollaborationwith Head ofDisciplinesand themarketorganization

• Reportweeklyon short-to-mid-termcapacitylevelsindisciplines aswellas potentialspecificgapsincapabilities withresponsibilityforkeepingaccurateand up-to-date data onresourcesupplyand demand

• FacilitatecoordinationwithotherResource Managers and the IndianandLithuaniancolleaguestooptimizeresourceutilizationand havegoodunderstandingof thework inrelation to cross-disciplinaryprojects;thisacrossDisciplinesand EngineeringareasinBuildings and IndustryandotherExecutingUnits inclosecollaborationwith theHead ofDisciplines

• Support Head of Engineeringand Head ofConsultancyin the overall workforceplanningprocesses

• Engageinclosecollaborationwith Project Managersincludingmultidisciplinaryteams and businessdevelopment

On top ofthatyouwillhave:

• Experiencewithworkforce planningfrom the consultancy industry combined with an understanding of how a project-based companyoperates(COWI usesPower BIsMaconomyOrbit andSharepointto coordinate resources)

• Theabilitytomanageandmaintainan overview of multipleongoingactivitiesandprojectsin astructuredmannerhenceagreatdata driven approach andunderstanding

• Strategicallyidentifyingand addressingchallengeswith effective capability tomaintainconstructive and continuous dialogue with key stakeholders including Project Managers Heads of Disciplines and Market Directors

• Toeffectivelyfulfillthisroleitsimportantthatyouthrivein anoutward-facingposition with abroadstakeholder landscape andarecomfortableengagingcollaborativelyacrossalllevels

• Aproficientverbal andwrittencommunicationskillsin English and Danish with afocusonclarityandconciseness

• Keen attention to detail andensuringhigh dataqualityinstaffingandplanningprocesses

You will embark on a learning journey and contribute to shaping the resource manager role as it evolves within COWI. The Resource Manager role is still a new role in COWIs blue print hence we do not have all the answers yet.
