Preferred Qualification(s):

- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical school training or equivalent experience in heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
Essential Job Functions:
- Inspect rental equipment upon return and prior to delivery to ensure proper operation and safety compliance.
- Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on rental fleet equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues and complete necessary repairs.
- Document all service and repair work accurately in the company system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with rental coordinators and service teams regarding equipment status.
- Assist with loading/unloading equipment when necessary.
Leadership Responsibilities:
- No direct supervisory responsibilities; however the role requires initiative and accountability in maintaining equipment standards and supporting team operations.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- 2 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair.
- Strong time management skills to meet service deadlines.
Physical and Mental Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Frequent standing bending and working in outdoor environments.
- Mental agility to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues under time constraints.
Work Environment:
- Primarily shop-based
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions noise and heavy machinery.
- Requires adherence to strict safety standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
