We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant General Manager to lead our guest services department and ensure the delivery of exceptional hospitality experiences. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of quality guest service across all hotel departments
- Achieve budgeted revenues and expenses maximizing profitability related to guest services
- Develop and implement short- and long-term financial and operational plans aligned with the hotels overall objectives
- Facilitate regular department meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration among all hotel departments
- Participate in the preparation and management of the annual hotel budget
- Enhance guest satisfaction levels to surpass brand standards and company averages through employee development and service excellence
- Oversee all hotel operations including guest satisfaction breakfast service front desk and other guest-facing areas
- Monitor and improve operational procedures to ensure efficiency and quality
- Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding service and uphold hotel standards
- Address guest concerns promptly and effectively to ensure a positive experience
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in hotel management or a similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
- Strong understanding of hotel operations financial management and guest service standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop strategic plans and execute them effectively
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Knowledge of hotel management software and MS Office Suite
- Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Business Administration or related field preferred

Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of applicable Federal state and local health safety and legal regulations.
Must have exceptional mathematical and computer skills.
High school education and relevant training and experience required. Additional education preferred.
Ability to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates.
CPR training required; first aid training preferred.
Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests associates and vendors.
Ability to assist with the design and preparation of statistical reports and presentations as needed.
Ability to accurately report information.
Ability to assist with various accounting department tasks as needed.
Ability to scrupulously follow all Stepstone and hotel policies and procedures.
Attend required meetings.
