Control Desk Associate
Pay Range:$19.00-$20.00 per hour based on qualifications
Schedule: Primary shift 6:00 AM-2:30 PM with flexibility (options include 6:00 AM-12:00 PM 5:00 AM-12:00 PM or 5:00 AM-1:30 PM)

We are seeking an organized and detail-focused individual to support control desk operations in a high-volume print and mail environment. This role ensures that all mail output meets quality accuracy and postal requirements before being released for delivery. The position requires strong communication skills accuracy in documentation and the ability to operate in a fast-paced production setting.
Core Responsibilities
* Review verify and prepare print and mail output for USPS delivery.
* Perform detailed quality checks on mail produced by inserting equipment confirming accuracy of envelope types inserts postage and address placement.
* Validate processed counts against the instructions provided for each job.
* Conduct random audits to ensure proper sealing and address visibility.
* Communicate discrepancies or concerns to the floor supervisor promptly.
* Open incident tickets to document issues related to output equipment or system functionality.
* Process reprints through the designated web portal when damaged mail pieces need replacement.
* Assemble and insert documents into envelopes when required.
* Operate offline postage meters when applicable.
* Complete additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Ability to read and write clearly to document operational issues and complete incident reports.
* Strong communication skills for coordinating with management and client representatives.
* High attention to detail with the ability to verify quality accuracy and proper formatting.
* Effective multitasking skills in a busy production environment.
* Comfortable working collaboratively within a diverse team.
* Availability to work weekends during quarterly peak periods (January April July October) due to increased document volumes.
