Position:Sr. EHS Specialist (Environmental Health & Safety)

Job Level:Specialist/ Senior Specialist (Depend on experience)

Reporting Manager:Associate EHS Manager

Dotted Line Report: Plant Manager (Expatriate)

Location: Nikom Amata City Rayong

Normal Working Hour:Mon-Fri 8:00-5:00

Job Scope:A Senior EHS Specialist at Vantive Manufacturing must ensure that the manufacturing environment adheres to Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulations and standards by developing and implementing EHS programs conducting risk assessments and audits providing training to employees and contractors and maintaining compliance with occupational health safety and environmental laws.

Job Descriptions:

  • Execute the EHS Management System including ISO 14001 & maintain ISO 14000 certified status.

  • Manages the administration and implementation of EHS policies standards and programs.

  • Ensure compliance with all EHSS regulations and company requirements; follows emerging EHSS regulations and issues.

  • Provide guidance and administration support on all EHS regulations.

  • Handle interactions with EHS regulatory agencies submit EHS data & reports and maintain EHS certificates permits license etc.

  • Proactively identify potential EHS hazards through risk assessments Gemba walks inspections etc. and drive timely corrective actions.

  • Work with other functions (e.g. engineering facilities) to ensure EHS MOC (Management of change) is implemented and EHSS aspects are considered at the beginning of new or changing operations and drives improvement.

  • Conduct EHS management system audits including ISO 14001 audit.

  • Develop and provide specialized EHSS training for employees coordinate EHS training programs.

  • Manage pollution prevention and waste minimization activities.

  • Manage negotiation and development of EHS service contracts.

  • Perform and/or assist in Industrial Hygiene monitoring.

  • Assigned other EHS tasks at the site.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Health and Safety. (Jor Por)

  • Min 3 years in EHS roles preferably in International Manufacturing Healthcare Medical Devices Manufacturing or any related fields.

  • ISO knowledge & experience.

  • Safety engineering background is preferred.

  • Business Level of English Communication.

  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards.

  • Experience with risk assessments audits and compliance.

  • Ability to develop and implement EHS policies and procedures.

  • Excellent communication and training skills.

  • Mature with good interpersonal.
