The Center for Biosolutions DTU is seeking an exceptional Head of Strategic Communications and Partnerships to advance DTUs vision by accelerating the awareness and adoption of biosolutions across Europe and the Danish ecosystem. This role is critical to shaping public perception building broad societal engagement and strengthening DTUs external footprint in Denmark and across the EU. You will design and lead the strategic framework for communications media relations and high-level institutional partnerships that position DTU and Denmark as a leading European hub for biosolutions. Working as a peer alongside the Innovation and Translation Manager and reporting directly to the Center Director you will have domain ownership over narrative strategy brand positioning and ecosystem conveningempowered to make decisions that advance the Centers mission with clarity and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communications & Public Value Narrative
Own and lead the Centers overall communications strategy brand narrative and media relations to shape public perception of biosolutions across society policymakers industry and international audiences. Translate the science and innovation of DTU researchers across biosolutions-relevant departments and centers into compelling stories that resonate broadly and position DTU as a thought leader. Leverage media proactively through an international network of journalists and opinion-shapers to amplify DTUs voice and influence the biosolutions discourse. Develop high-impact engagement moments and formats that bring diverse audiences together around the mission of biosolutions creating visibility and momentum for the field.
High-Level Partnership Strategy & Institutional Relations
Lead the strategic framework for the Centers external partnerships and institutional relationships at the highest levelsincluding EU institutions ministries and governmental bodies at ministerial level major industry platforms international networks and leading universities. Design and execute a partnership strategy that advances the biosolutions agenda creates broad societal support and positions Denmark as a European leader. Ensure these strategic relationships translate into policy influence funding opportunities and collaborative initiatives that strengthen DTUs leadership position internationally.
Ecosystem Design & Convening
Design and lead ecosystem-building formats and touchpoints that strengthen cross-sector collaboration and accelerate biosolution adoptionincluding high-profile events art collaborations policy dialogues and industry briefings. Drive cross-sector narrative building that makes biosolutions understandable tangible and relevant to diverse stakeholders. Create the conditions for meaningful engagement across industry government academia and society establishing DTU as the natural convener and thought partner for the biosolutions agenda in Denmark and Europe.
Collaboration: This role works in close partnership with the Innovation and Translation Manager with clear domain ownership over strategic communications brand narrative media relations and high-level institutional partnerships. Together you will ensure DTUs biosolutions leadership is both strategically positioned and operationally realized.

Salary and appointment terms
Appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
We offer a part time position of 20h/week. It is a permanent position. Start date is 01.01.2026.
