Duties to Commence: Immediately until January 8 2026 with the possibility of extension.
Qualifications and Duties
- Committed to being a model and witness to Christ-centered education values and beliefs.
- Apply foundational knowledge about First Nations Métis and Inuit for the benefit of all students and support the Divisions goals towards advancing Truth and Reconciliation.
- High School diploma supplemented by related post-secondary education (ex. business administration courses book keeping certificate or other accounting coursework).
- Minimum of two years experience in a school or office environment is preferred.
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt to constant change.
- Provides general clerical services for the office including receiving and directing calls recording and relaying messages receiving and sorting mail and assisting the manager and technicians with various tasks.
- Develops and maintains positive professional relationships with LTS staff school administrators and support staff external agencies vendors and individuals to exchange information and address concerns.
- Process and manage Accounts Receivable/Payable purchasing and internal & external reporting for the Learning Technology Services department.
- Manages LTS boardroom booking requests and provides assistance to the presenter and meeting attendees when necessary.
- Manages Division technology through the GLPI Ticketing and Asset Management system which includes; labeling new technology items and entering all related data (asset number school site manufacturer serial number purchase date warranty information etc.) into the inventory system.
- Maintains ongoing contact with vendors and manufacturers to set up repair cases package products for shipping track repairs in the inventory system and return the repaired package products to the schools once received.
- Create purchase orders and provide them to vendors.
- Research different technologies as requested and provide costing information.
- Ensure continuous knowledge of internal controls and demonstrate effective application.
- Obtain accurate account numbers from schools and departments and complete general ledger reconciliation.
- Complete Visa statement reconciliations months for the LTS department.
- Experience with PowerSchool and/or other office administrative software is required.
- Maintain and update the site dashboard and ticketing system.
- Approach challenging situations in a manner that is both constructive and solution-focused.
- Ensure knowledge and compliance of division policies and procedures.
- Maintaining stock room supplies and ordering.
- Support the LTS department with RFP creation and data correlation
- Other duties as assigned.
