As the Health Safety Environment & Wellbeing (HSEW) Manager at Acacia Prison youll lead the delivery of safety health and environmental programs that protect more than 550 staff 1600 prisoners and countless visitors. Reporting to the General Manager youll shape a proactive safety culture and ensure compliance with ISO and regulatory standards. As an HSEW Manager in the Acacia Prison team youll make a positive impact by:

• Partnering with senior leaders to set and deliver the HSEW vision and strategy
• Driving a proactive safety and wellbeing culture through leadership and engagement
• Managing compliance with WHS environmental and accreditation standards (ISO 45001 ISO 14001 etc.)
• Leading risk assessments investigations and continuous improvement initiatives
• Overseeing injury management Return-to-Work and psychosocial wellbeing programs
• Supporting clinical safety infection control and sustainability initiatives across the site

To be successful in this role youll have:

• A Diploma in Work Health & Safety (minimum qualification)
• In-depth knowledge of WHS legislation and risk management frameworks
• Experience managing safety systems in complex 24/7 operational environments
• Strong skills in investigation incident analysis and corrective action implementation
• Ability to engage and influence at all levels from frontline to executive leadership
• Experience working in correctional institutional or high-compliance settings
