Procurement MIP Manager:

Lead the execution of Procurement VIP (Value Improvement Project) projects by coordinating resources from Category Engineering R&D Quality Manufacturing RA etc. Manage the project timeline and resources to achieve business goals.

Roles & Responsibility

• End to End VIP project management of processes and improvements
• Coordinate the formal evaluation of VIP ideas from Physical Chemical Functional Sterilization Biochemical and Regulatory perspective etc.
• Coordinate resources to conduct the pre-feasibility study of VIP. Depends on the degree of complexity include from request samples from the supplier to perform test to ensure the delivery of the pre-feasibility report.
• Navigate the projects thru the prioritization phase and secure resources from different functional teams to determine a formal project
• Act as Project manager to coordinate suppliers manufacturing Engineering PDO R&D QA and RA etc to ensure the projects can be delivered on time and on target. Accountabilities include but not limited to
  • Prepare project charter activities and timeline resource plan risk and opportunity identification etc
  • Secure budget coordinate project leaders Change Control Owner in multiple departments to support VIP project
  • Collaborate with internal or external SME of material technology quality registration etc to solve ad hoc problems
  • Regular project review and report out.
• Follow up in ramp up phase after-project implementation
• Deploy best practices and transfer knowledge across the VIP execution team

Skills and qualification

• Bachelors degree or above
• Strong project management planning and organizational skills with proactive and self-driven personality
• Must have hands on experience implementing Lean Thinking Lean Tools and Kaizen events to drive Lean improvements in Execution phase
• Must have experience in effective root cause problem solving
• Demonstrate experience in the pharmaceutical and/or Medical device manufacturing
• Able to quickly gain credibility and gain traction with both stakeholders and suppliers.
• Influencing consultative and initiative capability
• Negotiation Conflict Resolution Presentation Skills Facilitation Leadership Effective communication skills
• Strong personal accountability for results and integrity eagerness to learn and continuously improve. Uncompromising dedication to quality relentless focus on rapid and disciplined action and respect for the diverse contributions of all.
