Job Summary

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Manager People Services you will actively contribute to a high-performing People team partnering on employment matters policies and procedures supporting our people in an efficient and timely manner. You will lead on various projects across Industrial relations Governance and Continuous Improvement across Workday Korn Ferry Job Architecture and other critical People process.  Specific duties are outlined below

  • Execute all employee lifecycle processes including probation contract variations through to offboarding activities in partnership with team members and People Leaders
  • Lead and support projects across industrial relations governance Workday optimisation Korn Ferry job architecture and other critical People processes.
  • Maintain all employee records in Workday with a high level of accuracy ensuring compliance and consistency and generating reports and data metrics as required.
  • Provide day-to-day People advice on employment matters policies procedures and employee life cycle queries with support where required.
  • Partner on WGEA reporting and actions as well as Family Friendly accreditation actions Engagement Action plan actions and other cross functional initiatives such as Wellbeing and DEI.
  • Coordinate and triage all incoming employee and leader requests for the People Services team.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with the payroll team to ensure all terminations and employee variations are captured accurately and timely.
  • Serve as the Workday superuser ensuring data accuracy integrity and confidentiality across all systems. 
  • Support special projects and annual activities for the people team e.g. performance reviews annual remuneration reviews succession planning and hi-potential talent identification. 
  • Apply a continuous improvement mindset to all processes to enhance efficiency and maintain process integrity.
  • Support on mobility including immigration and relocation as needed.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all policies procedures and governance requirements. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across Legal Operations Internal Communications Capability and Sustainability to deliver governance continuous improvement and enterprise people initiatives.

Qualifications

About You

To be successful you will be a proactive and detail-oriented individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding people services and fostering a positive employee experience.

The mandatory skills and experience required for the position:

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in a generalist HR role together with a tertiary qualification in a relevant field is highly regarded. 
  • Experience with Workday is essential.
  • Experience with Korn Ferry job architecture (including job analysis and evaluation experience to determine job classification and compensation) or similar job evaluation and classification framework.
  • Experience in Gallup Clifton Strengths and Culture Amp is highly regarded. 
  • WEGA experience and DEI knowledge highly desired.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills with MS Office Suite including Outlook SharePoint Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Confident in handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Ability to work actively as part of a team matrixed organisation as well as ability to work autonomously with independence.
  • Demonstrated interest in current and emerging People & Culture trends that promote strengths-based leadership empower people and people leaders to confidently lead their own people matters deliver a human-centred employee experience and maintain disciplined compliance-focused governance.

Qualifications :

Degree qualified
5 years experience in talent people & culture human resources consulting HRIS capability diversity equity inclusion and belonging or similar
