Job Description:

The Club Fitter at Edwin Watts Golf is responsible for promoting and maintaining a store culture that is consistent with Worldwide Golfs values including the Sure No Problem philosophy which has made Worldwide Golf what it is today. Sure No Problem means putting the customer first and doing whatever we can to ensure a memorable and positive customer experience. Responsibilities include:

• Maintain an awareness of all golf product knowledge terminology merchandise promotions demo merchandise and sale advertisements being flexible and knowledgeable able to work with specified vendors.

• Evaluate customers needs apply knowledge of golf club features and benefits and make recommendations on the right golf clubs for the customer.

• Educate customers on our golf products and help them compare differences to make an educated decision.

• Operate launch monitor and golf simulator equipment to provide customer with valuable data during golf club fitting process.

• Research merchandise availability via computer database; requisitioning merchandise from the stockroom and taking inventory of stock where needed.

• Assist with vendors floor moves merchandising and keeping the sales floor organized and clean to meet Worldwide Golf and vendors standards.

• Once fully trained recognize and suggest ways to improve processes.

• Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Ability to spend work time standing or moving around the store. Physical activities include bending stooping lifting (up to 15 pounds) carrying walking and/or reaching on a frequent basis.

• Have a working knowledge of word-processing spreadsheet inventory internet and order processing systems.

• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.

Qualifications Desired:

• Golf knowledge/background is required

• 1 years of club fitting experience is preferred
