We are looking for a full-time Stock Associate for our Greene Street studio. As Stock Associate at Acne Studios you will work collaboratively with your team to establish and nurture loyal and engaging customer relationships drive sales and positive business outcomes in which your service and attentiveness take center stage.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Your main contribution will be to support seamless store operations through efficient back-of-house processes that directly impact the overall customer experience. To ensure your success in this role we provide training and guidance in inventory management stockroom organization shipment processing and operational excellence. You will play a vital role behind the scenes by:

  • Managing and executing omni channel services
  • Welcoming and guiding customers through a smooth customer cycle tending to all details and providing them with the best-in-class client experience
  • Proactively monitor inventory levels and restocks merchandise to maintain product availability throughout the day.
  • The role involves overseeing the upkeep of the stockroom managing inventory and planning and coordinating all back-of-house (BOH) operational tasks. Additionally you will oversee receiving and processing deliveries ensuring regular stock rotation proper allocations and adherence to correct processes and procedures.
  • Conduct accurate inventory counts with strong attention to detail minimizing discrepancies and shrinkage.
  • Identify inventory issues early and communicate effectively with management to resolve them.
  • Maintain a clean orderly stock environment to support safety standards and improve workflow efficiency.
  • Expertly pricing organizing and presenting merchandise to create an appealing and customer-friendly shopping environment.
  • Streamline the processing of inbound and outbound shipments with precision managing the flow between distribution centers among stores and for client deliveries.

Specific personal qualities for this role:

  • Strong sense of urgency and initiative when completing stocking tasks.
  • Highly organized with the ability to maintain structured stockroom systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail when labeling counting and verifying merchandise.
  • Reliable and consistent with a strong work ethic and commitment to task completion.
  • Physically capable of lifting moving and organizing merchandise safely.
  • Able to multitask efficiently in fast-paced retail environments.
  • Clear communicator who works well with both sales staff and management.

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:

  • Experience using inventory management systems (e.g. RFID scanners handheld inventory devices POS back-office systems).
  • Familiarity with stockroom operations including receiving shipments unloading deliveries and processing merchandise.
  • Knowledge of proper product handling shelving standards and safety protocols for lifting and storing items.
  • Experience performing cycle counts inventory audits and reconciling stock discrepancies.
  • Understanding of retail floor replenishment processes and planogram compliance.
  • Background in maintaining organized stockrooms using labeling systems bins or zone layouts for efficient access.
  • Experience working in fast-paced retail or warehouse environments with tight timelines.
  • Knowledge of loss-prevention practices related to stock handling and inventory control.
