We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Research Writer to join the Methodology Development Group (MDG). The position is based in Bangalore and will involve editorial work on a wide range of publications including credit rating methodologies assessment frameworks and technical white this role you will develop strong partnerships with analysts and other stakeholders globally to enhance the readability transparency and consistency of our publications. Other duties include managing and executing editorial projects to improve content standardization across our suite of methodologies proposing ideas for graphics and other visuals that improve the reader experience with our publications and providing other types of editorial support as needed.
The Role / Responsibilities
Provide a wide range of editorial support to the Methodology Development Group.
Collaborate with analysts on drafting editing and refining rating methodologies and other publications.
Ensure high level of editorial quality across publications.
Drive consistency projects to improve content standardization.
Work across teams to develop graphics and other exhibits used in our publications.
Qualifications
At least 7-10 years experience in financial writing financial journalism or other relevant publication experience.
Bachelors or masters degree in business economics finance journalism or related field.
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential.
Strong writing and editing skills and excellent oral communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products particularly Excel Word and PowerPoint.
Highly organized efficient and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
A self-starter who can work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
Ability to build strong professional relationships at all levels.
Experience in using content management systems such as CMS Méthode Power Automate and AI agent tools is a plus.
Familiarity with credit markets and/or financial engineering concepts is also a plus.
