We are looking for a proactive Design Quality Engineer to support product development APQP/PPAP execution and cross-functional quality alignment. This role ensures design readiness drives issue escalation and supports teams throughout the development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead APQP kickoff meetings reviews and weekly status reporting.
Conduct APQP grid audits and escalate risks when needed.
Manage Level 1 escalations and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
Provide APQP/PPAP and AUROS/PLM training to engineering and supplier teams.
Update and maintain APQP dashboards in PowerBI.
Support quality target tracking gap assessments and Obeya reviews.
Ensure completion of design quality checkpoints (Design Assessment RMP Lessons Learned 360 Assessments).
Prepare and present project reviews for leadership.
Qualifications :
Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field.
Experience with APQP/PPAP and product development quality processes.
Strong communication organizational and cross-functional leadership skills.
Familiarity with PLM systems and PowerBI is a plus.
