Job Summary

Monday through Friday : Start Time: 4:00am to 2:00pm - Occasional daily and weekend OT

Essential Duties:

1. Change over and adjust all JPL machines (JIM Tape WEB) as production schedule warrants

2. Troubleshoot and repair major and minor issues on all JPL equipment

3. Follow specific Preventative Maintenance inspections on all JPL equipment

4. Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring & PLC issues

5. Keeps an organized and clean maintenance department

6. Requisite machine parts and supplies including ordering replacement parts and developing relationships with suppliers

7. All other duties as assigned by plant supervisor

Required Qualifications:

1. High School diploma required at minimum

2. Minimum 7 years of related work experience.

3. Vocational or related training in mechanical fields preferred

4. Must have good knowledge of 3 Phase Electrical Power Industrial Control Circuitry and ability to

read electrical schematics. Must also have understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs)

and AC Inverters.

5. Must have good knowledge of pneumatic operations and controls

6. Must be able to troubleshoot mechanical electrical and pneumatic problems on equipment

7. General knowledge of safety guidelines & OSHA requirements (lock out/tag out etc)

8. Experienced and proven welder (mig tig and arc)

9. Solid fabricating experience for miscellaneous parts guards racks stands etc

10. Basic knowledge of computer and general software

11. Experience in fast paced manufacturing facility preferred

Physical Requirements (See second page for further details):

1. Requires lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs and up to 130lbs with assistance

2. Requires bending kneeling and climbing a ladder in addition to alternative sitting and standing

3. Requires working in an unconditioned environment
