The Role
The Clifford Chance Data Privacy team is part of the Risk and Compliance department operating across London Delhi and Warsaw. The team ensures the firms compliance with data privacy laws and regulations providing expert advice and support to business functions and practice areas.
Who you will work with
As the Data Privacy Coordinator for One Europe you will play a supporting role to the team responsible for implementing and coordinating data protection and privacy activities across Clifford Chances European offices. You will work closely with the Data Privacy Senior Manager for One Europe supporting team members to help the firm meet its data protection obligations. You will also support the global data privacy team where required.
What you will be responsible for
You will coordinate day-to-day compliance tasks ensuring our operations align with data protection regulations. Under supervision of the Data Privacy Senior Manager for One Europe you will:
- Assist with day-to-day administration of the data privacy function including managing the data privacy mailbox triage incoming requests and ensure a timely response.
- Coordinate regular reporting activities including collating metrics and updates and preparing data protection and privacy reports.
- Support the maintenance of compliance records including records of processing data event management data subject rights requests and data protection impact assessments.
- Support the review of supplier responses to data privacy assessment questionnaires and the completion of client audit questionnaires.
- Facilitate the timely review and update of privacy notices policies training and guidance.
- Support the development planning and release of training and awareness initiatives.

- Develop an awareness and understanding of data protection principles law and practice undertaking data privacy specific training as required.
Qualifications :
Your Experience
- Experience in a similar role within a legal compliance or corporate environment is desirable.
- Awareness of European data protection laws with an interest in developing knowledge of global privacy frameworks.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a team with high professional standards and a flexible client-friendly commercial approach.
