Relief Night Cleaner

Join our five star luxury property located in the heart of beautiful Queenstown and assist in the operations of the Front Office Team. We are currently looking for a professional motivated individual who has a passion for customer service to join our team as Night Cleaner on a part time basis (2 nights per week).

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain the cleanliness of the Public Area including F&B outlets lobby areas public area on 2nd Floor in line with regulations.
• Understand the correct usage and storage of cleaning agents in line with health and safety regulations and manufacturers instructions.
• Exercise care and responsibility when parking guest vehicles. 
• Ensure the safety and security of Hotel Guests and their property whilst staying at the Hotel.
• To prepare the in-room dinning during overnight deliver food to guest in a promised time frame
• Assist Night Manager for any arrivals or departures room show luggage arrangement transportation arrangement etc. Ensure procedures are followed in regards to guest transportation luggage collection and storage and guest confidentiality.
• Provide barista coffee guest orders and assist the Food & Beverage team in breakfast set up
• Regular liaison with Maintenance ensuring maintenance requests are completed quickly focusing on guest needs as a priority.
• Ensure the appearance of the guest services desk foyer and forecourt is immaculately presented at all times.
• Keep the Night Manager informed of the Guest Services activities.
• Ensure all corridors are free of trays linen trolleys or cages. 
• Assist with the provision and removal of rollaway beds and cots.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 6 months experience in a similar role including 5 star experience.
• Clean and full New Zealand driving license 
• LCQ and First Aid required would be advantageous
• Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills.
• Desire and ability to train and develop staff.
• Maintains awareness of industry trends in service product and presentation.
• Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily.
• Organises time and work efficiently.
• Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the job role.
• Has the aptitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
