Job Summary

Introba is seeking an Aviation Technology Program Manager. This position at Introba is responsible for both leading the technology components of assigned projects and assisting other consultants and principals with the consulting design and construction management of technology systems (including the following: data/voice/video cabling systems and infrastructures networks wireless systems voice communications nurse call overhead paging security access control video surveillance audio-visual and other specialty systems). This includes designing technology systems writing specifications and developing budgets for individual projects.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initiate relationships with clients and serve as one of the clients point of contact along with defining channels of communication and provide frequent updates; keep customer and other project stakeholders apprised of progress and any necessary modifications or delays.

  • Support the Principals by creating content and leading visioning strategy workshops with the customer through the programmingphase of projects.

  • Advanced Aviation Systems Knowledge: Experience with airport-specific systems such as AODB FIDS BMS PIDS and integrated security platforms (ACS CCTV VMS).

  • Smart Infrastructure & Digital Twin Familiarity: Exposure to smart building technologies digital twin platforms and sensor-based automation in aviation environments.

  • Multi-Disciplinary Coordination: Proven ability to lead coordination across architectural civil structural MEP and specialty systems teams.

  • Constructability & Cost Optimization: Experience in constructability reviews and value engineering to optimize lifecycle costs and design intent.

  • Commissioning & Closeout Expertise: Familiarity with commissioning protocols punch list management and end-user training for technology systems.

  • PMP or Equivalent Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) PMI-ACP or similar credentials are highly recommended.

  • Contract Administration & RFP Development: Experience drafting and managing RFPs bid evaluations and vendor negotiations.

  • Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets track burn rates and forecast resource needs across multiple concurrent projects.

  • Stakeholder Management: Strong interpersonal skills to manage client expectations resolve conflicts and lead visioning workshops.

  • Proposal Writing & BD Support: Experience contributing to proposals fee estimates and client presentations for aviation pursuits.

  • Industry Participation: Active involvement in AAAE ACI ACC or similar aviation organizations is a plus.

  • Support programmatic reports sketches and budgets to communicate recommendations to clients in a manufacturer-neutraliterative fashion.

  • Support project budget: track and manage the project budget for duration of project.

  • Lead project meetings; establish meeting agendas; document meeting minutes maintain action items and issue logs while supporting the overall project schedule.

  • Conduct user meetings to develop requirements by system department and room; effectively document the customer requirements and communicate to internal design Team along with external design team (architect civil MEP engineers etc.).

  • Support the Principals to develop any necessary RFPs for equipment or services answer bid period questions issue clarifying agenda and review proposals and tabulate format to assist the customer in selection.

  • Develop and manage punch lists for each system; support the development of transition and move plans; support final commissioning of systems and end-user training while tracking and managing close out activities and documentation.

  • Attend professional developmental seminars and conferences to stay abreast of industry changes and advances.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in the Architect/Engineer/Contractor (AEC) industry.

  • Aviation industry experience required.

  • Ability to work onsite with client and/or remote from home.

  • Position may require limited out of town travel. This includes both project related travel and other travel such as industry conferences. This travel is typically during the week and 1-3 days in duration. Expect one trip every month on average. Travel is normally domestic however occasional international travel may be required.

  • Proficient to Advanced personal computer skills including proficiency in MS Windows 10 or higher operating environment.

  • High level of proficiency and expertise in the following productivity tools is required and expected: MS Office Suite including Word Excel PowerPoint Teams OneNote Bluebeam Revu

  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with other Team members by following established company standards templates and process.
