Translational Science Operations Specialist

To support the growth of our Translational Science teamsargenxisseekinga highly motivatedTranslational Science Operations Specialist.You will support a wide variety of activities related to planningmanagementand operational translational activities.A close collaboration with the different teams will be essential.

This position is based at our facility in Zwijnaarde Belgium and requires daily on-site presence.

Main roles & responsibilities

In close collaboration with your team members you will provide crucialsupportto operational and administrative tasks:

• Takefull ownershipofbuildingandmaintainingastock managementsystemmonitoringinventorylevelsand ensuringreagentandsample availability.
• Manageoperationaltasksincludingshipmentcoordinationanddocumentationorganizationof biobanksamples.
• Supporttheorganization ofmeetingsby managingagendasandmeeting minutes withinternalteamsand externalpartners.
• Keepoversight of studydocumentationandensure properarchiving.
• Map andmaintainoverviewofall Translational Science activitiesmaintaincentralizeddocumentation systems forplansreportsand other study-related materials.
• Develop andmaintainproject timelines and deliverables forTranslationalSciencestudies.
• Provideadministrative support forcontractingtrackbudgetsforecastcostsandmanageinvoices to ensurefinancial accountability.
• Oversee data flow from vendors ensuringtimelyandaccuratescientificdata transfer.
• Collaborate withTranslationalScience teams to designestablish andoptimizeinternalprocesses and workflows. Develop clear guidance materials and job aids to define roles and responsibilities ensuring smooth implementation and operational excellence.
• Contribute to the growth and further development of the Translational Science teamand implementation of template documents best practices gapidentificationand tools.
• Actasa Copilot Captainto support the Translational teams effectively.
  

Profile

• Holds aMastersdegree in Life Sciences or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experiencein a biotech environment;hands-on laboratory work or experience as alab technician;experience in project management.
• Motivated by a balanced mix ofcoordinatorof scientific activitiesprogrammanagementand administrative tasks.
• Skilled in usingstandardoffice software like MS WordMS Excel MS PlaniswareorPowerBIarea strong plus.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch (spoken and written) mandatory requirement.
• Interested in working in a multidisciplinary team but with the ability toplan and carry outtasksindependently
• Shows reliability independence and precision in task execution
• A committed team player with strong collaboration abilities skills and eager to foster connections
• Flexible proactive andinnovativesolution-orientedapproachwith strong problem-solving abilities.
